I've created a page for a friend and made it "private" so that the page is not visible to the public. After creating the page and making it private, I "updated" the page and posted it.
I next previewed the page and it looked fine. I then copied the url (http://joshuazepeda.wordpress.com/hughes) and proceeded to log out so that I could attempt to land on the page as a normal user without admin rights.
I pasted the url in the browser and got a message that stated: "Oops... Where did you get this link?"
Well... I got the link from WP!
I'm a bit mystified at this point. I've even tried using the "short link" instead, but get the same messge.
Any idea what I'm missing?
My goal is to give the link to my friend so that they can go to the page by clicking on the link. (I'm trying to avoid revealing the page's existence to the public. I realize that I could password protect the page, but it adds a tab to my blog and reveals the existence of the page.)
