carlos111 on "New User"

I logged in and am trying to write some text as a draft. My dashboard is empty on the right side while the "Your Stuff" says there should be a right column.
Also, I can access QuickPress but get the following message when I try to "save as draft" "Please make sure you have filled in all required fields.."
I would rather use the visual editor but when I click on "screen Options" the only options visible are "Show on Screen"-> Your Stuff and What's Hot. below that is Screen Layout Columns.
