Hey,
I have been using WP for a devblog for a long time now... But then I had to reconstruct the whole site (ie. the host of the devblog subdomain) - because I moved onto my very own server. When I did that, I made some changes, stuff goes through a PHP redirector, as well as all the subdomains... But that is not the problem. All is working now.
The problem now is that I had to reinstall my WP installation - when I tried to access "devblog.thenet.sk" - it failed with something like "Unknown method stdClass::stdPrefix" - so I reinstalled, it, of course keeping the config and tables. Or actually, I tried to reinstall but it said "Tables already installed, please clear before reinstalling" - ... So I just tried it now "devblog.thenet.sk" and it really worked (hm) - however, it said it needs to update my DB - alright. Done. It worked, I could see my posts, the theme stayed, I could log in and saw that the admin works. It updated my plugins as well. Cool.
Now I wanted to post something. Something written. Let's post. Guess what? No sidebar with publish or publish settings or whatever else. The editor was also buggy. Something, I guess it was supposed to be an auto-save was shown in the bottom part of it, again error of "stdClass::stdPrefix"...
Any idea how to fix this and/or why does it happen?
Is there a way to reinstall WP without cleaning the tables?
