merpower on "Will not let me update a post-:Error on this page" message"

Hello,
We're not able to update the blog. Began trying last week, and thought maybe
there was a temporary upgrade going on at WordPress.

This is the first hitch we've encountered in two years of blogging.
Appreciate any ideas.
