lodi360 on "New Sub-Category Delay"

I've read here that there can be a short delay when creating a new category or sub-category. I created a new sub-category about 20 minutes ago and Posted a new article using that category/sub-category. The drop-down menu still does not reflect the change (added "Critique" to "The Arts" category). Is this normal? (tried in three browsers with empty cashe)
