I've been going round in circles all day trying to set up email addresses for my domain. Because I have to point my Nameservers at WordPress, I can't use the email options my domain provider has made available. My only option then is Google Apps.

However, the instructions on WordPress for setting up Google Apps with my site simply just don't work.

Following the instructions to the letter, it gives me a TXT record to add to my DNS configuration. According to the WordPress instructions, I then have to enter that into the 'Verification Code' box in the domains section of my dashboard. Upon doing this, a box comes up saying 'Your Google Validation String should look like this: googleffffff12345' If I hit the 'Generate DNS records' box again, it'll then fill up my records with a bunch of text.

Once I save that, I then try to verify it through Google Apps, as per the instructions from WordPress, only to be told:

Verification failed. Your verification DNS TXT record has the wrong content.
Show found DNS TXT records
v=spf1 include:aspmx.googlemail.com ~all

Any assistance would be well received as I have no hair left to tear out. Thank you.
