I transferred my hosting from WordPress to Godaddy a few days ago and after getting all of the posts imported in from the old blog I'm still having trouble in a couple of other areas.
First, none of the users registered to the blog are able to have a post published. We can write a post and hit publish, it will say that it's published in the dashboard but on the actual site itself attempting to visit the link results in a 404 error. The format of the posts are the same as before (ex. http://arcadeheroes.com/yyyy/mm/dd/postname/). Also, with the transfer I had to make a new WP account and I can only login to the new site under that one (arcadehero), if I try using the account that I am writing this post with (shaggycade) on the same login it says invalid username. But I can be logged into that latter account automatically by visiting any WordPress page. It has me a bit confused.
Also on an aesthetic level, I changed themes from Sapphire to Graphene and I cannot figure out how to make my header image link back to the homepage. I've tried tags to no avail and I just want the header at the top, not the text that is grabbed by the PHP header file, which I removed so it wouldn't superimpose against the header. I don't see an option in Graphene to make the image linkable so do I have to modify one of the PHP files in a particular place or just make the header an image map?
Thanks
