Okay, so here it goes. Many people say that you can't redirect a subdomain.wordpress.com blog to a domain.com blog that's not hosted on wp.com anymore. So here's my situation:
-I have a blog registered with wordpress.com, grindgadget.wordpress.com.
-I have registered a domain name with wordpress, grindgadget.com.
-After a while, I moved my blog off wordpress.com, but the grindgadget.wordpress.com blog is still up.
-The grindgadget.com domain is no longer pointed to wordpress's nameservers.
Would it be possible to redirect my grindgadget.wordpress.com blog to grindgadget.com by setting the primary domain of the blog to grindgadget.com but not setting the grindgadget.com domain's nameservers to ns1.wordpress.com and ns2.wordpress.com? Or will the grindgadget.com/s nameservers be reverted back to wordpress's nameservers if I set grindgadget.com as the primary domain?
