immendorf on "domain mapping broken internal links new posts"

I've seen references that it may take up to 72 hours for domain mapping to complete. Is the 72 hour wait also for being able to add/edit posts and have internal links mapped? Site is autismmadison.org and my new posts aren't showing up. the wordpress url is autismmadison.wordpress.com. Should I put the wordpress url back to primary until the 72 hours is up?
