I created a static front page with a name other than "Home" on my Vigilance themed blog. I understand that many themes are hard coded to display a "Home" link, resulting in two links (in my case, one to "Home" and one to "Pleased To Meet You") that link to the same thing. How can I remove the "Home" link from appearing in my header menu? I see from WordPress support that I can hide the second link by editing the page and setting another page as the parent. When I do this, though, both the "Home" link and the page under which I've hidden "Pleased To Meet You" are colored as "selected" in the header menu when "Home" is selected. Ultimately, I'd like to remove "Home" and just have my static "Pleased To Meet You" page appear. Any suggestions for a rookie would be much appreciated. Thanks.
