A lot of us from the 60's and the 70's have hit brick walls in our lives. Our lives and actions have become questionable and our own existence still poses many unanswered questions. Or do they. Are they even worth asking anymore. God. Is he real?
Man, there's millions who will tell us yes. We're told turn or burn and a multitude of other holstered religeous responses and cliches. We're told we're going to hell if we don't "have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ." Why? Because we're told we can't access God without him. I personally hope there is a God but I am not able to say I know for sure and I don't think any who says they believe 100% in God is being honest with me. Just as important...they are'nt being honest with themselves.
What about Jesus? Is he or was he real? I don't know that either. There's only a written account of who he was declared to be the word of you know who. But...even if Jesus was just a man...and nothing more...read his words. He knew the nature of man better than man himself. And he gave some pretty good lessons about how to live our lives with eachother. He was right. If you take every other aspect about the man called Jesus out of the picture he was still, in his time and ours a brilliant in his observations about us. How we are. What we do and how only the face of out times change. Our nature has remained the same. Both good and bad.
