textopiablog on "how to phone your blog from a self-hosted wordpress installation"

When the "phone your blog" feature was announced by wordpress.com, a lot of users (including me) were asking if this could be made available for wordpress.org, i.e. self-hosted wordpress installations. Well, I figured out how to do it. It is not a plugin, more a sort of configuration hack, but could be useful for some. Have written up the details here:
