When the mouse is over the number of shares for this button, the number is underlined. How to have it not underlined?

My audio files didn't import when importing from WordPress.org site. I was hoping if I empty the blog & try re-importing now that I've purchased a space upgrade, it would work.
I really couldn't find any useful information on importing, requirements for importing media files, or addressing problems. Can you at least point to some detailed, useful documentation?

we currently have a subscription to 'custom design' and are being asked to renew. however, as far as i know, we are not using any of the 'custom design' features. we are a very small organization with zero money, so we don't wish to renew a service we are not using.
if the subscription expires (i guess it does today..), are we at risk of losing any content or formatting?
how would i know if i was using 'custom design'? we use the twenty ten theme with no special fonts or colours (as far as i know) and i don't even know what CSS is so i don't think we're using that.
any help would be most appreciated.

My friend told me that she has her own website through wordpress. So I thought when I upgraded it would be like having my own website. In a way it is, but my blogs are the first thing a person sees when the site is open rather than my "about" page. Is there a way to change this? If not, do you have a service that allows people to create their own website? I don't blog enough to need extra space, but I would like to have a webpage -- which this is something like, so potential employers etcetera can find out more about my work.

I've been trying to insert a featured image in a page on my blog but it won't show. On the edit page it shows up under the "Featured Image" section but it doesn't show on the blog. This is so frustrating I might have to change themes or even go for a hosted solution outside WordPress.com

Hi guys,
very new to wordpress and struggling a bit here.
When I set the site up I've somehow set my main url as the place where posts are displayed, and as the homepage (like I want), but then added a page called "home" because I didn't see a homepage listed in the pages when I started. That page has the url domainname.com/sample-page..
How do I merge these two pages/ get rid of one so that I just have a homepage displaying posts, with a url without an extension.

Using twenty-ten theme, I want two separate forms separated by text. I noticed it won't allow me to do this. It always opens up the one form and not give me an option for adding new fields separate from the first form. I want to add 11 more fields after my text "Next, your Nominee's info" in the Nominate your Hero sub tab for local heros.
