I am working in the "Sight" Theme and using it as a website rather than a blog. I want to get rid of the "Latest Entries" title that appears over the main text area on my home page.
I am using the "display latest posts" rather than "static page" so that the slideshow of sticky posts and featured photos appears at the top of the page.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

I am using theme Twenty Eleven and would like my main sidebar to appear with all new posts, so new users get to see the widgets. Currently, when I do a new post, users can only see widgets by clicking on homepage. Can this be modified so users can see widgets on iPads and iPhones as well?

I want to change my URL but I reserved it on accident. I stupidly set my URL as nellenetterville.wordpress.com. I did this because I thought the URL would be based off of my username not my email (by the way that is not the smartest default idea for your site). I then set my web address to nellenet.wordpress.com in my settings but that didn't change my URL. When I tried to change my URL through my dashboard it says that nellenet.wordpress.com is reserved. I don't understand why I cant change my blog URL to this web address if I'm the one that reserved it. I then tried to create a new username to try and reset the blog address but that just ruined my original username of nellenet and with no help in resolving my original issue. I do not want the URL nellenetterville.worpress.com I want nellenet.wordpress.com. How can I resolve this issue?

My domain was originally registered through WordPress, but I recently moved the website to a virtual private server. My hosting company instructed me to create child name servers to point the domain to the new VPS hostname. I looked through several forums to find out how to do this, but I only see solutions for adding a pre-registered name server, not for creating a new child name server.
I have the IP addresses and the hostname that I want to set for the child name server, I just don't know how to create the child name server. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I have just set up my first blog on WordPress.com, and was hoping to change my username to reflect the name of my blog. I looked up how to do this on the WordPress.com help section, which told me to go to my account settings and click the "Change" button next my current username.
However, when I try this, I am simply taken to the "Blogs I Follow" page in my "Reader" tab, rather than receiving a prompt to change my username. I've tried this process in several browsers and always encounter the same problem. Does anyone know why this is the case? Is anyone else having problems changing their username?

I created a photo gallery with about 300 photos but when I go to click on an individual photo to make it bigger, the screen turns black as if it is going to work, but then it just stays black. The worse part is that I can't even exit
out of it and I have to restart my browser in order to go back to the photo gallery or any other page on my blog.

I have jsasports.com and for some reason i cant access anything but the front page. Clicking on any link just goes back to the front page, it happened a few months ago and i havent found the solution anywhere else. i have the domain with godaddy and they said you guys were who to contact.
Never seen this on a wordpress page ive had before so any help would be appreciated.

Registered my common username majr0d with wrong e-mail address. Used [email redacted] instead of [email redacted]. That locked it out. Set up account with correct e-mail and used majrd hoping after a couple of days the mistaken attempt would drop out of the system and I could change my username. I gavce it a week and it's saying the name is used but I suspect it's me (I'm blocking myself). Could you delete the initial attempt and get me squared away with majr0d as my userid? I'm having one very serious incident.
I created the blog wordpres.com late May and began writing to share. At first I had a lot of friends and all supporters, especially the keywords and post my regular google index. But in late July, all my posts were filled back google, blog it loads really slow, do not post google index dc for a long time (even though I write, do not copy).
We hope to help people so I can troubleshoot the earliest.
