staceywilson on "main wordpress site search bar not appearing"

I noticed today that the little search box in the grey bar above my blog is no longer there. Is this a user wide change or something I switched off. Mind you, I am not talking about a search box on my blog, but the one that was on top in the grey wordpress bar. I would often use it to search and read other blogs with more unusual tags than those listed on the front tag page of wordpress. Such as there is a tag on the home page for "poetry" but not "haiku"
