zhungfu on "Pause comment form action?"

Hi all, is there a way to pause the comment form action?

I am trying to run a javascript once user click on the submit comment button. The comment submission action keep refreshing the page and the javascript can't run fully.

Any help or guidance will be highly appreciated! : )
