we want to be able to configure our wordpress.com blog with individualized "tracks" for authors. I presume the Authors Widget gets that done, but I wanted some confirmation/information. For example, this wordpress.com blog (literally! it's wordpress.com itself! http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2010/09/21/new-theme-fusion/) has the author's image fairly large next to it. Which is what we want. What we also would ideally like is a separate page for the posts by an individual Author. Which I presume can be done by making them into a category (thus: http://blog.globalnovations.com/author/mikehyter/). I now want to combine those two features, and have the Author's face appear at the top of his or her category page. Can't I do that, or is that accomplished as a WordPress.org feature (i.e. custom themes and page templates) only?
