We've recently moved to wordpress.org and developed a custom theme to our site (which is at http://nffty.org), we host the site at inmotionhosting.com and have a shared hosting account with them.
We decided to go with VideoPress for our video needs and "almost" successfully incorporated it in out new theme.
We use shortcodes to embed the video in the posts and most of the time the video does appear and load but sometimes (with any seen reason) it just randomly doesn't get embedded and is not shown on the page. Looking in firebug's console it looks like GATEWAY.AMF on videopress' domain doesn't respond and therefor no authentication/authorization is made to embed/display the video (all our videos have external embedding disabled). The browser's status bar is stuck on "Transferring Data from videos.wordpress.com". A post containing video can be seen at http://nffty.org/explore/ask-the-experts/funding-for-documentaries .
Until now we experienced it randomly using Firefox/OSX and Chrome/Windows accessing the site form Seattle and Los Angeles.
Which steps can we take to better troubleshoot and solve this issue? Can we have any access to logs/calls that were made from our site to videopress?
