Hi,
I have a strange request for you all...
I produce predatory bugs for protecting greenhouse crops.
The idea is you use natural predators instead of pesticides. My customers are organic farmers and more and more conventional farmers who want to reduce the pesticide residues on the food they grow - GREAT!!
The predators I breed are mites that eat thrips, whitefly etc and are found naturally; I just give nature a helping hand by releasing more than would naturally get into the crop from outside.
I use reedmace pollen to produce the mites but my source in Australia (Cumbhunghi pollen (Typha)) has dried up.
I'm interested in sourcing (buying) some Reedmace pollen - I've been out collecting myself but I've only managed to harvest a miserable 20mls.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Simon
