Over the course of the last week, I tossed a few dollars to Facebook to create a small ad campaign to increase the number of Facebook "Likes" my blog has. Success! We went from 40 Likes (pretty much coming from people I knew personally) to 221 at current count.
Strangely, though, this hasn't translated into page views on my blog (downshiftautos.com, but the way). I found it odd that 200 people would "Like" something they had never seen before without first checking what Downshift Autos was, not to mention the thousands of people that saw the add but didn't click the "Like" button.
I had a friend click on a couple of links on the Facebook page to lead to my blog, but the clicks were not registered as page views, nor did I receive any Facebook referral hits. Is this just a problem with my page, or Facebook in general? I need to make sure that the money I spend translates into real page views, whether through Facebook, Twitter, or WordPress WordAds.

I have some college kids working on my website for credit; they no longer are able to submit new images because the old password wont work. I have tried for a couple of hours to create a new password but it too wont work. None of us are impressed with wordpress. The kids need help and I cant help them. I have no idea on what is going on at this site. For some reason I have the name of Ksoosue on my site and stating that this is my email address. IT ISN"T!! I have no idea who or what this Ksoosue is. And, my email address is sure not that. Orginally I was replying to one of the answers to a food network comment. As I login in, another site showed up on my PC stating do I Ksoosue authorize or not. That is the first time I ever saw that. That has never happened to me before. I don't have this name or use it in my email address. And, I'm pretty sure I have been here at this site before & you so I haven't.

Apparently I cannot remove an individual "like", unless that has changed. I am concerned with bloggers who have adult content liking my blog which is G rated.
I've tried to select don't show avatars, but I see them anyway. Do other users see them?
Also, is there a way to block their avatar from opening their blog? I don't want to remove the like button, but I also don't want my users to end up on an unsavory blog.

I want to remove the title home from my front page but have it as a link in the menu. I have searched in the support page but maybe i am not explaining it properly. In the first page, i have named it Home. when i go into that page I see the word Home which i dont want. But I would like to have it in the menu on the top so people can click on it to go back to the main first page. I am having trouble finding how to do this and so would like your help. I have tried removing it as a Page title name but when i do this the menu and page widget just have a blank. I am sure it is really easy to do but i just cant seem to be able to do it!!

I'm in the course of writing a new post. I want to insert sections of text I wrote in Word, but every time I insert a paragraph (using either simply ctrl C / ctrl V or the insert from Word function in the editor), another paragraph disappears, and the draft reverts to a previous version. Similarly, I cannot insert images from the gallery - when I try, the image doesn't appear, only a little line, and some of the text above it disappears.
I have tried two different browsers and clearing cookies.
